Decided in Luxemburg by the European Space Agency council meeting at Ministerial level, Ariane 6 is a modular three-stage launcher (solid–cryogenic–cryogenic) with two configurations using: four boosters (A64) or two boosters (A62).

In comparison to other rockets, this one is really quiet. Rockets that aren't noisy are quite an achievement, I always knew ESA builds the best rockets!

When knowing that the concurrence is trying to re-use their rocket to save cost, I don't see, if they manage to do so, how the Ariane 6 could be competitive. Maybe only on High Earth Orbit, but I have my doubt on the sucess on the market of the Ariane 6.

Would be so good if you had a system to assist in third stage deorbit, but we get the same than always.
