"Coming Home" is still one of our favorite live songs even after all these years.
While we were revisiting the old tapes we found this very early demo from '83 !
It's so exciting for us to listen to that song in this very early and unfinished version as we remember the details of how it was created - we hope you enjoy it too!

This is an amazing song throughout but I'd still love to hear an extended version of the intro from the original track on the album. Coming home has one of the most beautiful intro sequences I've heard in metal.

From about blackout or love it first Sting, I really feel like the Scorpions were just mailing it in, it doesn't have the feel of the old stuff. Repetitive dull songs, halfhearted vocals. Anything on animal magnetism or lovedrive blows away this stuff, except for a few good tracks.

But amazing drumming from Bobby Rondinelli, and Jimmy Bain sounds great on bass guitar. The bandleader Rudolph really wanted Jimmy to join permanently.
