Ford Diesel: P20BD - DEF Reductant Heater B Control Circuit

2011 - 2016 Ford Diesel. This truck came into the shop after Having a DEF Tank Heater replaced. The check engine light was still on. And here we are, I pulled some codes and found we have 2 codes present. in this video we will be going after the P20BD. FIXED! Thanks for Following along.

Excellent! 2019 F250 - Im getting a P205B Reductant Tank Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance. Could this be the other heater you spoke about, and is that on the pump itself? thank you - Chris

Hi changed the def heater before seeing this. Once replaced I now have 20PD, 203A, and205D. Could a bad heater line cause more codes?

The thing Ford refuses is put a force regen button or at least has not put one in there past Diesel, instead you hv to drive it . God for bid the air inlets hose pops off and you hv to drive a short distance to safety to pop it back in and then the truck has sweated and started the shutdown mode due to low boost. And the only way is force regen with a laptop 🤦🏼‍♂️
