Grew up on the coast, and anytime we had an away game in, or near, Astoria we would all be on the look out for the Goonies house as we drove by. They also shot Short Circuit and Kindergarten Cop there as well.

I absolutely love Astoria, I would totally move there if I could. I think it's funny how far away Cannon Beach is from Astoria and in the movie the kids ride their bikes there, 🤣

Last time I was at the Goonie house the sign read "Please do not drive up road, Goonies on foot are welcome to take pictures."
Maybe the house was sold to someone else that wasn't a fan of the movie. Also the house from Short Circuit was just down the road.
