Know my values and know where I'm going then filter every piece of information through that.

*What are my top 5 values?*
1. Health
2. Authenticity
3. Freedom
4. Business / Service
5. Connection

I like how this guy is called Julien Himself to show his message even more. Found this dude exactly 10 minutes ago and already laughing my ass off because it's so relatable. Subscribed, Liked, etc. Julien, you truly deserve it. 😁

Already 3 min in, that’s where I’ve messed up with this whole “self improvement” stage of my life. My friends weren’t productive, not looking to improve, so I slowly isolated myself to work on what matters to me. This happened during the same time as Covid started. And in a sense, it might sound like a good idea at first, and it did help in some aspects such as learning to be self independent, but two years later, I am now truly isolated and regret doing that. I’ve lost good connections that could’ve grown along with my self improvement, and even though my friends weren’t on the same vision as me, I could’ve been that one friend who inspired them to change as well, but I am now just realizing that and didn’t back then. Now I have to accept the decisions I’ve made and make new connections, or maybe try to rekindle my old ones but cutting off people just because of your own selfishness is a detriment to your success, and I have now just learned that at 19, and glad to have gone through this at this age rather than later in my life. Don’t go into your journey with this “lone wolf” attitude, everyone needs help in some kind of way and it’s okay to accept that.

I love to tell myself and remind others that our authentic selves are our abundant selves! This requires radical honesty and it brings so much clarity and better use of your energy. Good stuff! Thank you

Juliens content is just amazing, it is exactly as he describes it. I think our society would benefit a lot from that knowledge and most people don't even know about that. In many cases traumatized people cause more trauma to other people, it's like a negative loop.

7:00 I try my best to fight this, I see myself worrying to often about if the people around me would approve of who I get into relationships as if they are part of the relationship as well.

Hi julien, greetings from spain, i've been following you and you work for 15 years now in rsd and by yourself, what i've found really useful to stay grounded and focus is to have really well established values and standards in my personal perimeter as well as boundaries, so i know who i am, i know what i value and i discard anything that doesn't live up to those things in my reality . Thanks for everything you have done.

6:06 You learn to love what you do. Im an analyst and I honestly love working with Excel, VBA, Tableau. I want to learn Python cause I hear you can do wonders with it. I get it, its boring to some people, but I get a kick out of figuring out how to process and extract difficult data. I dont hate, but I prefer not to work with people. Just me and numbers.

Julien you are an absolute treasure for a lot of people, you seem to help many I love listening to your lectures because for me self help self assessment self
Positive talk has always been in my life. I didn’t have supportive parents I had working class
Parents too busy to care about feelings back then but hey, all worked out for the best, I have a hard time seeing that people lie to not just others so much but they lie to themselves so much just to get by!! Isn’t that tiring??? Why do some it seems have such a hard time being honest with themselves? Why is that so hard when to me it isn’t a punch line it’s my way of existence. I really do not understand the amount of people that are so toxic to others and to themselves that’s crazy to me why would you wanna self sabotage like that??

My major trigger is being authentic in front of my parents. I for the first time today ended up shouting at the top of my lungs in front of my mom and she invalidated me. I was interested in listening to my inner voice after that. A dominant part of me agreed with her and a small little voice seemed to be on my side. I realised that i need to do this often. To me the thought of doing this again is quite daunting.
