Ronnie Wood always has the best attitude towards everything. Just seems like a guy that keeps the peace and is grateful for everything he's accomplished.

I love listening to him, and he always seems to enjoy the story, whether it's his own or someone else's.

Ronnie has more than enough chops and has the right personality. There are two huge egos already, you have to be diplomatic and very "light", and have tough skin. Ronnie has all these. None of the other names would endure that much. The Stones had another 40 years career because of him.

That song "Hey Negrita" got me drinking Negrita rum in 1976! Thanks Ronnie! Great song, great drink!

Ronnie, what's more important to you in a song? The melody or the lyrics?

Artistic wise it was a bad decision but financially it paid off in dividends. I love your playing Ron and I bet the Stones would have crashed by now if it weren't for you.

Official simplified historie, it was much more complex and Ron was already jamming with Keith, Taylor tooks the light on stage over Keith and was composing a few greats songs with Jagger, only coincidence...

Between two Mix...
Mick said:
Then Mick said to him:
And the Mick said back to Mick:
I said to Mick:
Mick stood up and left:
Then Mick said:
I said to Mick:
.... Mick was like... what Im gonna do?

Fuck Ronnie, you are not a storyteller. Thank God I knew the story.

Although disappointed that Harvey Mandel didn’t get the offer. RW was the logical choice. Jeff couldn’t keep him, neither could Rod. A shame, Truth is as important as the entire Stones catalogue.

Ron Wood was great in the Faces but I never liked him much in the Stones. Once Mick Taylor left I lost interest. Their glory days were behind them at that point.
