Uh-ho, I assumed that I understand what "an aspirated sound" means as I know what 'aspiration pneumonia' is, but Cambridge Dictionary has it in more details:-

In phonetics, aspiration is the noise that is made when air escapes after a plosive consonant sound. In English, aspiration is an important feature in whether we hear a sound as /p/ or /b/ at the beginning of a word.

And, a plosive is a consonant sound that is made by stopping air flowing out of the mouth, and then suddenly releasing it. /p/ and /d/ are examples of plosives
