Ever wonder the science behind kombucha? My next video will show how to make kombucha, but this one focuses on the SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast) and how it can turn regular black tea into a ~delightful~ carbonated and acidic drink.

Stick your bottle in the fridge overnight, that'll quell the carbonation a heap, so you can open it and quickly pour a glass.

I've had wine corks blow like that when wild yeast get into my homemade wine. I'm careful about sterilizing everything but, every couple of years I get a bottle that does that.

I drank a half a cup of kambucha for 3 days and had more energey than I knew what to do with. I have had MS since 2001 and much if the symptoms are going a way. I began my first batch yesterday. Cause store bought is expencive.
