Really loved this maker. Not a lot of work. No filter.

But it can't make less than 4 (marking on pot states 6 cups minimum) cups very well and the plastic pot (the bottom part) discolored greatly within a couple weeks of every day use. Had to look for a special brush to fit in the narrow neck of the pot to clean it. Other than that it truly makes the best coffee I've had.

I have had 3 of the Santos throughout the years and the same problem would occur with the base of the coffee pot, it would eventually start leaking into the electrical mechanism inside and there was no way of fixing it. I would like to know if this problem was addressed in this new design.

why is the lower container plastic? what a pity!

it makes real tasty coffe, but you dont need to add the coffe when the water boild, you add it from start as on most coffemaker, same as the older model with burner under,

Le café coule quand il veut... et en plus, malgré un défaut de conception, fuite de la partie haute, la garantie ne fonctionne pas. Ne pas acheter !
