The 2025 Mazda CX 5 continues with eight trims, including the 2.5 S trim that returns after a year away. This trim offers a low price model to be competitive with other manufacturers as well as a price differential with Mazda’s own 2025 CX-50.

The other trims include the preferred, the premium plus, the carbon edition, carbon turbo, turbo premium, and turbo signature. There are more standard features across the line, including a 360 view monitor for the first time on the premium plus. The 2025 Mazda CX-5 truly is the best ever.

Although the 2025 Mazda, CX 5 will not offer a hybrid powertrain, it does have better fuel economy through cylinder deactivation and i-stop which is standard on the carbon edition and premium plus with the 2.5 L SkyActiv G non turbo.

Just bought 24 premium cx-5 in Platinum Quartz. Love the low end power of turbo plus all the comforts of a/c seats and the comfortable drivers seat. Also have a 21 Carbon w/o turbo and it’s going strong.

I had the 2022 CX-5 Signature and I had problems after my first year with delayed start and at times where the vehicle would not start at all. I loved my CX-5 but I had to get rid of it since the dealerships could not figure out the problem and the cause of the issue.

1. Touch screen Android Auto is only on the wireless version, right?
2. Even with touch screen, it is limited up to some very low speed limit, something like 10 MPH, right?

Currently shopping for a compact SUV with Mazda on the short list, but A monthly fee for remote start here in Canada is likely a deal breaker for me! Why is this not on the key fob Mazda?
