This is one of my favorite songs of all time! I really hope they remake the anime, cause I remember having a blast watching it, but then comparing it to the manga I could tell which one had waaay more planning put into it.

Although I will say that the OST of the anime is superb, and a remake of Tokyo Ghoul without Unravel would be a crime against humanity.

I love this anime and manga series. Growing up I wouldn’t watch it cause I grew up in a Mormon home we can’t watch r rated movies or tv shows, but watching it was the best decision I ever made. I love the action, and the characters… and unravel is one of the best openings in anime, it tells of Ken Kanekis story and how he feels, it’s truly deep and heartwarming

Not a big Tokyo Ghoul fan, but the lyrics to this song strike so hard. For many people feel this way. Trapped in a toxic paradise, a danger to those they care about and they feel as if there is no way out.
I love the absolute emotion Japanese music is able to convey and the feelings of the characters the music is supposed to convey.... It's so beautifully morose.
