Starmer in US as Russia warns West of risk of all out war

The news that six British diplomats were being effectively expelled broke on Russian state TV this morning. Russia accused them of spying - something that was hastily denied by the Foreign Office.

The claims followed Vladimir Putin's stark warning yesterday of the risks of Nato being drawn into a war. This evening Sir Keir Starmer is in Washington meeting President Biden to discuss the escalating crisis.

When they say Ukraine to get permission to fire into Russia - It is not Ukraine getting the targeting information as that is classified, or Ukraine entering the details into the weapon as that is classified. It is just Ukraine who MAY end up firing the weapon. And that is not true for a lot of the weapons supplied, the skills to fire are classified. So, who ends up doing all this? British, USA, and others from NATO who have the clearance to do the job. And that is why Russia points out that this is DIRECTLY involvement and therefore Russia can at their time and place choose how to respond. Maybe some back water place ends up with hypersonic weapons that hit places, gee how did that happen?

In the end it does not matter, the West is dead, they just have not realised it. The whole corruption of the MIC and how public funds have been drained to spend on stuff that works against 4th world countries. And now people will freeze in the west this winter as their governments send more money to Ukraine. More people out of work, more people go poor, more immigration, etc. And we voted for them and this to happen. It could have been avoided, our hubris.

If the UK or US allows Ukraine to use storm shadow missiles. This would be a direct involvement from NATO against Russia, Ukraine doesn’t operate satellites so they will be unable to use them
