Elon Musk's rocket company, SpaceX tries another high-altitude test flight, this time for its SN9 rocket. The second flight of a prototype of Elon Musk's next-generation Starship rocket meant for eventual trips to Mars was picture-perfect right up until the landing, which again ended in a fiery explosion. Catastrophic failures during testing are a blessing, even if they feel disheartening. They just telegraph that somewhere, you have a design flaw that needs fixing, and it's always better to know about these and get them fixed _while on the testing phase_ instead of when the product is fully commercialized which could result in loss of life and/or bigger resources. So, yeah, landing failed, but that was part of the test to get more data on how things work, so testing was a success.

Second engine failed to ignite? I presume without enough backpressure from combustion, the fuel is ejected too fast and fails to provide the environment pressure for a stable combustion cone?
