Most important for me, I can design ERP system & deploy it to my client w/o paying license fee or putting it in the store for Apple gracious approval. I love the compatibility with every modern LCD, without need of special hardware. I can do presentation, browse my files etc. Not to mention the huge selection of file formats it supports & beside playback works as storage, using Air application to take files from client's computer, without software or cable. Non of which can be done on iOS.

Consider why OSX is beloved by artists, musicians, and developers. Those same reasons apply to iOS. But iOS does need a refresh and hopefully iOS7 will be a nice update. I also have devices running Android and my problem is that a lot of apps crash or sometimes work until an update breaks it. In that way, iOS has more actually usable apps, because they tend to work. Finally, no smart phone manufacturer provides support like Apple. Replacing a phone is easy and OS updates support older phones.
