In the 22nd Portuguese With Carla Podcast, me and the husband introduce a few numbers to your European Portuguese vocabulary. Add one or two idiomatic expressions, a little formal speech to use in a shop and you have enough to keep anyone entertained for half an hour or so.

Great lesson & I really like having the audio transcript added on a loop. Before I made a note of the time the Portuguese run through started & finished. Thank you for this & your excellent material. I’m learning so much. Wendy

Great lesson as usual.. but auxiliary doesn’t have anything to do with armpit. An auxiliary means a help or assistance, or a back up. Like an auxiliary pilot or teacher used as an aide or support. It also means the cord used to plug into the radio to play music from your phone or mp3. Auxiliary cord or Aux cord for short. I’ve never heard that used in English in connection to armpits. I’m not sure what word you’re looking for there.

Great podcast, again! Quick question...in a shop or business setting would it be appropriate or correct to use the conditional tense, "Precisaria de umas muletas..."? Obrigadinha!
