Think about it.
Goggles is standing inside a pocket of space that has been completely distorted by SHODAN's use of the FTL drive to bend space time and distort physics (its a miracle there's air for him to breathe still)

If he kills her. He's not just stranded 67 trillion miles from home, he will likely not survive the resulting reality shift.
He knows that he will most likely be destroyed in every way it is possible for someone to be destroyed. And some ways, which are likely impossible.

Perhaps when the UNN shows up and studies the wreckage, they may name some of the resulting phenomena after him.

Such an amazing game and an absolutely perfect ending. Your character goes through so much horror and bullsit and when SHODAN tries to get you on her side, you're just like "yeah no I'm good, scary computer lady."
