That special edition of Goodfellas is, sort of, the only way to watch the film on DVD in anamorphic widescreen. Other DVDs would play the film, as it was when it released on DVD back in 1997, in letterboxed only. There even was a double feature DVD set with this film and The Departed, and even the Goodfellas disc had the usual letterboxed only print intact with only English and Spanish subtitles and an English-only audio track, except you don't have to flip over the disc to see the whole film. I just wish Warner Bros. could reprint the 2004 DVD of Goodfellas. (Double-disc, single-disc, etc.)
