▬▬Staking ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Get your toilet seat warm, soon it’s time to earn some cash! *rubs hands together*

I mean, I am more of a “earn while you cry in bed listening to sad music” kinda guy, but that’s obviously subjective.

Staking! As we drive towards making investing accessible for everyone, the Bitpanda community will soon be able to put their coins to work as part of the blockchain validation process — and get weekly rewards for doing so.
Just one tap and your portfolio can earn staking rewards while you do you.

Excited?

▬▬BTC goes official in Central African Republic▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Some of our favourite news to tell is when a new country moves closer to mainstream crypto adoption. You’ve probably noticed this by now. Well, it's no surprise then that we mention the Central African Republic, which has adopted Bitcoin and considers it an official currency! El Salvador deja vu, anyone? A large point many experts make about crypto adoption in developing countries is that it connects these countries to the broader financial system and helps general development. Although CAR has quite the hefty stash of precious metals, like gold, and also diamonds, it has been considered one of the poorest countries.

▬▬▬Bored Ape crashes ETH ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The apes are at it again. Last Saturday, the creator of Bored Apes Yacht Club went live with a sale of virtual land in context with the very coveted metaverse project. Roughly $320 million of crypto was involved in this sale, making it a record high amount. Sounds fun and bustling, but not so much when you take in the traffic and demand, which caused issues within virtually the entire Ethereum network. Subsequently, fees went up drastically and efficiency way down

▬Warren wat?▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Some are lovers and some are haters. Warren Buffett, somewhere in between? This time, one of the world’s richest men and prominent face of finance shared his less than positive opinion on Bitcoin. He said, “Whether it goes up or down in the next year, or five or 10 years, I don’t know. But the one thing I’m pretty sure of is that it doesn’t produce anything.” Unlike Senator Lummis, who compared bitcoin and crypto to commodities like cattle, Buffet comparatively compared it to other common investments like real estate and farmland.
