Amazing. I didn't know how many different layers and voices are used in one Van Canto song. 😳 Now I know why it always sounds so good! And now since I know... I can hear every part in the song if I pay attention to it. That's a whole new feeling of hearing your music! Wow! 😍

Oh! One more thing.. Have you ever considered re-recording A Storm to Come (the album)? Maybe even record "The Trooper" officially? Because now, looking back, even though it was basically a demo album, there are good songs there that just lack the throat-singing style rakkatakka and new mixing techniques. Would be great to hear the heavier, newer versions :D

Those A-a-aa aaaah Aaaahh sounds quite musical, I like when some songs have this kind of thing (like Speed of Light, Quest For Roar and Falling Down) because they get more memorable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but for Voices of Fire, even though Ike wasn't officially in the band he recorded some bass lines. Was that because Jan's voice isn't as deep and is more suited for a bass-baritone? I mean, here it sounds more like baritone range fits him better and he feels more comfortable.
Also, you mentioned Ross' lead singing abilities. Are there any songs on the new album where he is featured as a lead singer? Would be nice to hear him sing something.. He sounded good on "Paranoid" :)

Which "other recordings" did you mean, when you mentioned that you don't like the lead singers in the backing choir? When was the last time Van Canto did that?
I think I have to pay more attention when I hear your older albums 😄

I've often wondered why you don't have as much female backing/choir voices as you do male. Now I know!

Do you feel that having only one female vocalist sometimes restricts you?
Would you ever want to write something that requires more female parts, kinda like a reverse "Anteroom of Death" where Inga's singing the main vocal and there's a "Tarja" backing her?

(Did I mention how jealous I am that you've recorded and preformed with TARJA FREAKIN' TURUNEN?!?!?!?!)
