Really cool video! Although I will note that the 2006 is350 that I own does indeed have a traction control button but it only works under 30 mph

Thanks for the detailed info, Nav. I've been contemplating a 2010 Lexus IS 250 Convertible with 120K miles on it. Asking price is 14K. My plan is to take it to a Lexus showroom for a pre purchase inspection and then make a decision. Carfax report shows it was sold as a L certified in Aug 2022, but then went straight to an auto auction and eventually to a small local dealer!!

I found many mentions of carbon build up and random issues (like in one of your previous video) but I also hear many good mention. Currently a bit confused! I definitely don't want to spend a 3k on maintenance like you had. Based on your overall experience would you recommend it? Is there anything specific I should focus on during pre purchase inspection (other than carbon build up)?

I drive a 08 Civic for past 10 years and just want a change to a bit fun and reliable drive. Thanks and kudos to the cool videos!

Any information on what year the Lexus IS came equipped with the 4GR-FSE 2.5L with D4 system .. oil burners .. vs. D4s updated models?
Is that pre 2iS or did that upgrade fall in those years?
