the screens r just weird, why would u look at a screen when you can see live fish

One thing I would change is to get rid of the "fire" fountain and turn it into an actual island with sand beach and fauna for the turtle. I would also add a few more turtles, blue gills, and a log for the turtles to bask on. All the gas fire does is hinder the view to the two screens and waste a ton of gas.

It's the most tasteless pond I've ever seen 😂

it'd be a HUGE miracle if even one fish is still swimming in that pond today.

An example of having so much money you dont know what to do with it. It looks like it was build for people to look at but no thought went into the inhabitance of the tank. (what was the point of the screens and fire volcano?) These guys have spent too much time making tanks for casions and it shows. Its blank inside the tank, no sand, no gravel, no rocks, no attempt to make it look like it could be an example of something that could happen naturally. Its like take a fish from a 50 gallon tank and putting them into a 2, 000 gallon tank. But now that tank is out side, with no shade, so those cold water loving fish are going to have to endure 120 degree Las Vegas days in direct sunlight and the chance of running in to natural predictors. This project was purely to show how successful you have become and to make people that know you envious, with no regard to the animals inside. The sad part is with the resources that have at their finger tips they would have done something nice and this is not that. I give it a C-, It had potential but needs work.

:( The tank was so bare. No bottom gravel or sand. The barest of plants. No shade or obstacles for the fish/turtles to move around in and under. I felt bad for them. It reminded me of the old bare cement zoos they kept animals in back in the early 1900's when they didn't know about animal rights. I know they are just fish, but I feel bad for any animal that is treated as an accessory or decoration and not as a living thing with needs and a standard of living. A stupid display of wealth and ego with no regard for the animals.

I'm impressed that they actually used a live plant even if they did leave it in the ugly plastic tub it came in...It looks more like a swimming pool than a pond. The money spent on those screens and fire pit could've gone to some natural features like plants and wood

If I was rich I would definitely deck out my backyard before getting a luxury/sport car

The screens and the big dirty fire pit kills it. Looks more like a pool then a pond lol

Wow, looks so authentic. The way they create natural habitats with a sprinkling of class and sophistication, these folks are true fish magicians. Think they missed a trick without the plastic luminous corals. The sound and light from the 2 huge tvs are going to make the fish and 🐢 feel right at home in the barren tank.

those fish are going to boil. especially with that direct sun, the pond will get a shit ton of algae from all the waste carps produce. the vegas temp change from day (90-105) to night (50-80) will make the fish constantly stressed. also. "cycle the tank for an hour"? really. you don't even have real rocks everwhere in there for bacteria to culture on, not to mention a massive tank like this would take over a month to truly cycle enough beneficial bacteria to house carps and a turtle. I used to really love this show when I was a kid but now I know how to actually take care of fish, and in every episode they leave out CRITICAL information like filtration, food, cycling, and fish behavior and water parameters. it leaves people who are new to the hobby with the impression that you can just chuck fish/turtles/plants/whatever into a fancy tank and they'll survive and thrive simply because you spent a bunch of money on some glass or acrylic box or whatever. I wish you would show at some point what it actually is like to take care of fish and what it takes to keep living animals healthy.

I hope they put enough shade areas for the koi to hide from the sun in the pond. Believe it or not fish can get sunburned just like any other animal, and need shade to hide when the sun is out during the day. They also need to be able to hide from predators like cats, birds of prey, and raccoons

Look at all those clamped fins. They look happy...

My favorite part is the screens that block nature while playing images of nature.

Not enough shade and not deep enough for koi. You would think this was built by someone who knows nothing about aquatics. They should watch Aquascape's channels.

This is an interesting idea, but the elements are not located well. Note that fire element blocks the view of the led displays. Every camera shot had to be craned. You won’t be able to cleanly watch the led from the pool or firepit
