Hide Your Heart is a song by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, released on her 1988 album Hide Your Heart. The song is written by Kiss' rhythm guitarist and vocalist Paul Stanley, Desmond Child and Holly Knight. Although the song failed to chart (except in Finland), it has appeared on several compilations.
Written by Paul Stanley, Desmond Child, Holly Knight, "Hide Your Heart" was originally rejected for Kiss' 1987 album Crazy Nights. Stanley offered the song to other artists, with Bonnie Tyler recording it first for her album Hide Your Heart. The song later appeared on Hot in the Shade, the same month Ace Frehley's Trouble Walkin' album was released which also features a cover of "Hide Your Heart".

🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: My name is Alyona Yarushina, or Aly. I was born in Russia, and I am a singer, a musician,
I play the piano and do many arrangements myself, I’m in love with 80s and 90s rock. In Russia, I played with several bands. One of them is the best Led Zeppelin tribute band in Russia called "Plumbum Dreams". The other one is called "Back from the USSR", where we played Beatles songs in my own arrangements. We played in Liverpool, England almost every year on the Beatles week fest. My dad, Valeriy Yarushin is my bass player in this band. He's a legend of Russian folk-rock and his band “Ariel” was most popular in the 70s and still is now. I learned a lot from him.
In 2004, I won the “International Hopes of Europe” competition in Sochi, Russia along with the “Grand Prix” prize for singing I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston.

I came here from hearing her doing a PERFECT PERFECT cover of These Dreams but to find this song cover. Such a huge difference of songs not only in tone but clarity, pitch, and breath work and to see the same singer change her technique to match this style…..now I know for a fact this singer knows how to use her instrument. To go from These Dreams with the harsh raspy pitchy style to a clear full supported vibrato and clarity is truly astonishing. So now I had to subscribe. Anyone that knows or gone through vocal training knows the amount of work one must do to achieve this knows it isn’t easy. 5 Star plus plus plus
