Edith Elliott: Working across 400+ health facilities in India and Bangladesh and rapidly growing, Noora Health improves health outcomes and strengthens health systems by equipping patients and their loved ones with essential caregiving skills. Noora Health's programs have reached over 3 million patients and caregivers to date, and they were honored as a 2022 TED Audacious Project grantee and recipient of the 2022 Skoll Award for Social Innovation.
Prior to Noora Health, Edith was a Design Innovation Fellow and Entrepreneur Instructor at Stanford and worked at the Aspen Institute and Population Services International. Edith has been an Ashoka Fellow, Rainer Arnhold Fellow at Mulago Foundation, DRK Foundation Fellow, Echoing Green Fellow, and Associate Faculty at Ariadne Labs at Harvard. She holds a BA from Tufts and MA in International Policy Studies and Global Health from Stanford.
Nicole Taylor is the president and CEO of Silicon Valley Community Foundation with over 20 years of experience in executive management, higher education and nonprofit administration, and fundraising. Previously in philanthropy, Nicole served as CEO of Thrive Foundation for Youth in Silicon Valley and CEO of the East Bay Community Foundation. She is on Stanford University’s Advisory Council for the Graduate School of Education and served on the university’s 2022 Visiting Committee for the Computer Science Department. Nicole received her M.A. in Education and A.B. in Human Biology from Stanford University and began her career as a public school teacher.
Sarah Audelo has spent her career advocating alongside and supporting organizers from across the United States to build and flex power on the local, state, and federal level.
As the Deputy Advocacy Director for States at Open Society Foundation, Sarah supports groups building and flexing electoral power as well as fighting for the issues that matter most in communities across the United States.
Prior to this role, she was the Executive Director of the Alliance for Youth Action, the largest youth grassroots organizing network in the country. Before joining the Alliance, she worked in policy and advocacy at Generation Progress and Advocates for Youth on issues such as healthcare, economic justice, higher education, LGBTQ rights, and more.
Shahed Alam: Noora Health is a non-profit organization that supports family caregivers and patients across 400+ health facilities in India, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. Noora Health supports health systems to deliver high-quality training for post-surgical, post-delivery, and general care, then follows up with families at home using mobile messaging technologies. To date, Noora Health's programs have reached nearly 3 million patients and caregivers. Noora Health was named a 2022 TED Audacious Project grantee and recipient of the 2022 Skoll Award for Social Innovation.
Prior to Noora Health, Shahed focused on improving healthcare for incarcerated populations in the U.S. and on developing low-cost technologies for better diagnostics in low- and middle-income settings. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and MHS in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and an MD from Stanford University. He is an Associate Faculty at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
