I was born in '77. Star Wars toys were my first action figures. When GI Joes dropped they were instantly cooler as they bent at the knee and elbow. Not to mention all the accessories and vehicles added later. The 80s were a fantastic era to be a child 😎👍

I’m happy to see Hit&Run made the list. There’s so many great Joes that you can never be mad at anyone’s list of favorites. Some of mine that didn’t make the list are Footloose, Low-light, Shockwave, and Tunnel Rat.

For me, number one will always be Outback. A few weeks ago, my childhood dream finally came true when I managed to buy one with full equipment. A rugged, bearded guy who teaches the Joes how to survive in the wild, will always be the number one for me :)

I had a bunch of Star Wars toys growing up and never collected GI Joe toys…but that’s because I didn’t have too. My best friend did and got to play with GI Joe at his house. So GI Joe at his house, Star Wars at my house and we had another friend with He-Man toys….oh the memories!

Loved your video, but one correction. Spirit was the second Native American character to be introduced into the line. The first was Airborne, released the year before. He apperared in the comics 20 issues before Spirit (issues #11 and #31), though Spirit appeared in the cartoon long before Airborne I think.

Surprised at how many Joe figures I actually had in my collection back then. Stalker, Duke, Flint, Snake Eyes (v2), Scarlett, Barbecue were all in my toybox. Great video!

I was born in ‘76 and used to collect these in the 80s….they were so cool. Storm Shadow was always my favorite.

Flint was always my favorite Joe, but you can't argue against Snake-Eyes.  I was also big on Gung-Ho and Roadblock because...Marine with a GL and a big dude with a Ma Deuce as his main weapon -- too awesome.

Mutt and junkyard were my favorite. I have two rottweilers sleeping on the couch next to me right now. Gung-ho made me want to be a marine. Also thought Ripcord was an awesome character.

Some of my personal favorites are Beach head, Tunnel Rat, Footloose, Dusty, Spirit, Lady Jay, Shipwreck, Stalker, Hit and Run, Alpine, Recondo, Pathfinder, sgt Slaughter, Gung ho, Roadblock, Rock and Roll, Heavy Duty and so many more but my absolute favorites are the Drednoks
