Superman the Ride is the award-winning hyper coaster at Six Flags New England. This Intamin mega coaster has claimed the top spot in Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards several times and it's not hard to see why. This coaster has one of the best layouts in the world, as the first half is an out-and-back coaster while the second half is a twister.

Just rode Ride of Steel at Six Flags America on Saturday and was blown away by one specific pop of sustained ejector airtime. It was the hill after the straight track section and I still can’t figure out why it was so forceful. Batwing was my overall favorite coaster, but that moment on Superman was so unexpected. It was phenomenal. Side note: Six Flags America often gets treated like a second class park, and I feel that’s quite unfair. KD and BGW are my home parks and while SFA doesn’t have the beauty of BGW or the coaster collection of KD I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t feel like slower tier park. I even saw quite a few things I would like to see other parks implement. The way the queues worked at SFA was far superior to either BGW or KD. Holding patrons back before the actual gates and only allowing riders to fill them two or four at a time made it way easier and more convenient to ride with groups, rather than trying to line up in opposite lines with lots of people jammed in. Having a team member take our pass photos T the entrance was way better than having to go to guest services and the hustle and friendliness displayed by every team member we interacted with was fantastic. The only disappointment we had was staring into the empty husk of what looked like at one point in time was an amazing stunt show in Gotham city. Don’t let the rumors about SFA keep you form visiting. It’s seriously a very good park.

The scary one my opinion is wicked cyclone, super man anti that bad, and the fall dose not feel like your falling straight down, plus at the end you will feel some Gs in the turns after the water drizzle.

I forgot, the star flyer is absolutely terrifying but it’s worth it, plus in spooky season the ride fake breakdown and go backwards.
