Another huge problem with 100T is that they mostly don't have people playing their preferred agents and their preferred styles. Asuna needs freedom to fly, Hiko needs to be on for the clutches, and most importantly they need someone who play Jett.

in short, 100t plans were good however the guard's counter-strategy were one-step ahead. also, they were out-aimed completely by trent.

Its also good to note that at the astra wall 16:01, there was a spot left for 100t to be able to plant under protection from the astra wall. But that space was left there so that you can knife through the wall and kill the planter, which JonahP tried. (You can knife through astra walls without crossing the other side)

some lessons to learn from this game:
1. don't let the enemy team use utility for free (Guard's cat Sage wall won them so many rounds, simply breaking it early would have given 100T so much more room and would have created presure)
2. playing 1 lurk setups against an aggressive defense is very risky (BabyJ and Ethan struggled to create space in the chokes alone vs 2 members of Guard, despite dumping all of their utility) instead, playing 2 1 2, 2 2 1 or 2 3 setups can be more effective.
3. know the gaps in your util. when executing, Guard found so many weak points in 100T's utility. know the counterplay to your abilities and punish the other team before they can punish you.

I'm glad I ran into a video like this. During my cs days before the pandemic I watched a lot of small-time youtubers give analyses like this and it helped me understand a lot with what was going on macro-wise. Now that I'm mostly on Valorant and some of my friends are new to fps, I'm glad to see videos like these again and would love to see more. Of course I'll also be sharing this to my beginner friends so they could have a better grasp. Great video!
