iPads on tortoises: Art or animal abuse?

The Aspen Art Museum's plans for an exhibit featuring live tortoises with iPads on their backs is under fire before it even opens.

Well this is the way I see this. First the tortoise is being taken of with food and water. Second I know that the tortoise cannot speak but the way the tortoise is acting its clearly not in pain. I understand that its not natural but you cannot say its animal abuse if the fucking animal is showing that hurting or doing anything it can to save its life.

Just because you can, does not mean you should. And justifying by saying the female tortoise may endure the weight of a male on it during breeding is an insult to most people's intelligence! Breeding is a natural experience. iPads are far from natural and these iPads are on their backs for extended periods of time.
