Excellent points guys! We need to think outside the box and really think on how can be design and create apps models which will not harm the environment.

Interesting to see highlighted this difference between energy consumption and carbon footprint. On the other hand, I did not see much regarding the actual design and implementation of the software. Most of the actionable advice was about finding the greenest providers. Anyway, I find these principles useful and spot on.
