I wish people would stop saying "oh, don't worry... so-and-so is in heaven" We shouldn't do that! We should not prematurely and presumptuously canonize the dead! We should pray for their souls!

I pray St Gertrude prayer as many times i can during the day and at night before i go to sleep. Let us all pray and work hard at emptying purgatory!

Wow!!! This is powerful! My husband and I were fascinated by this doctrine of the Church. There's so much hope! I often wonder if my grandmother, a devout Catholic who passed away from this life, has been praying for my full conversion. I will pray for her.♡

After my dad had been dead about a year, ( maybe more) I had a dream about him. He was crawling, and was half in and half out of a doorway, and was calling out “ help me”. I had Mass said for him and started consistently praying him!

I lost both of my parents this year and I prayed a lot for the salvation of their souls. I offered my Holy Hours for my mother salvation, while she was in hospice care. I belive that both were saved, when my father started to get frail since the end of last year I prayed for him and I believe that God listened to my prayers.

This is much needed this very day. My father's aunt who was not converted but was always wonderful died this morning and I have been praying for her soul. I will continue to pray for her since the Father is outside of time and all things are possible with God!

When my parents died,
I cringed at people saying they're in a better place.
NO ONE KNOWS. That's truly the hardest thing about losing them. You'll just never know, no matter how much you pray for them😪

I once saw a crying soul from the top of her lungs ran towards me and hold my hand and gone.. and found out she’s my mother in law that died 2 years before I got married .. pray the rosary for her everyday, and saw her on my dreams looking happy and young and smiling at me..

Amen. I feel that having a mass said for someone's soul is one of the best uses of your money! I was convinced of this when I learned that Saint Pio too had a visit from purgatory asking for a mass to be said since this was necessary for the soul to get out of purgatory.

I love stories like this, I had heard that Padre Pio had said that there were many Souls in Purgatory that had come into his Parish. I have a passion for the Souls in Purgatory and pray for them Daily, let us not forget our Family members who have passed on and Pray for their Souls daily. Praise the Lord.

Even tho we say comforting words to the loved ones of the person who died, we must always pray for their souls!!! The Hail Mary is so comforting cause we say now and at the hour of our death. Yes, GOD WANTS EVERY SOUL!!Praise be Jesus✝️

Our Lord commanded us to visit those who are in prison. Make it a habit to bless yourself with holy water throughout the day, offer the precious blood, make sacrifices, and always pray your Rosary for the poor souls and you will have an army before the throne of God to make sure you join them in heaven. This is what I long for🙏

Thank you Father, you will never know how much this meant to me right now. We just lost our 41 year old son.
