Architect, Noora Khezri, from Mad arkitekter talks with the host at Arka, Ane Cortzen, about the building process of the first large-scale building in Norway built entirely on existing materials and elements from demolition projects. The 4300 m2 office building is located at Kristian Augusts gate 13 in Oslo. It is based on a circular economy, where the reuse of waste is both a part of the interior and the construction.
The construction project is based on an already existing building from the 1950s but the drawings of the building didn't show all the details which challenged the project but also made it exciting, discovering old materials and hidden doors.
