Bought by my great grandfather, based on the cheapness by the goverment. The local fire station needed an off-road vehicle and the government wouldn't buy one. So my grandfather bought a new Volvo L3314 aka Valpen or the Laplander. It has been stationed at the same station all the time. Taken care of and preserved by my great grandfather, grandfather and my father. Whom all has been firefighters at this fire station. When it was time to replace the Volvo with a new Land Rover. My dad bought it, kept it and took care of it.
It's all original. Never tampered with or modified (other then the fire truck spec). It has done 17000 kilometers (10500 miles) since 1969.
