👉 Learn how to determine the measure of the interior angles of a regular polygon. A polygon is a plane shape bounded by a finite chain of straight lines. A regular polygon is a polygon whose sides are congruent (equal). The interior angle of a polygon is the angle between two sides of the polygon. For a regular polygon, the interior angles are congruent (equal).

The formula for the measure of the interior angles of a regular polygon is given by: 180(n - 2) / n degrees, where n is the number of sides of the polygon.

Could have been explained much quicker and simpler.

If a straight line is 180° and an exterior angle equals 60°. Then obviously the other angle must equal 120°.

Or imagine it like this:

Draw a circle round each point. Each circle is 360° and you have 6 points. So the total number of degrees you have is 2160°.

If all the angles inside a polygon add up to 360 then you have 60° inside and 300° outside.
