Trixie the Pinecone Gremlin?

Those old bronies were heccin' wild. As long as mlp exists, there shall be silly memes made of its characters! Thank you for watching this different and wacky video. I have been busy with a lot of top secret stuff lately, so I really wanted to try and put something fun out there!

Yeah that was me (Bronymike). I was watching someone's art stream and they were taking requests, and it was just the result of a weird train of thought.
Trixie (at the time) was arrogant, was a villain, and was a liar, and it was entertaining to set her in scenarios where she was doing something stupid or dangerous.
For some reason the thought crossed my mind that pinecones would be hard to eat (I was fresh out of high school, maybe I was goofing around with friends and tried biting one) and that it would be fun to see what an artist would do with the prompt "Trixie eating a pinecone".
The artist and other viewers seemed to be entertained by the scene that was drawn, so I gave the same prompt in another artist's stream, and they had their own interpretation of how to draw it. Every artist seemed to have their own dynamic pose and level of pinecone-eating success, and Trixie's emotional response to the whole situation.
Sometimes she was making it "disappear" as part of her magic act, sometimes she just enjoyed it, sometimes it was a sad serious thing because she was down on her luck and she was scrounging for food. It was a forced meme that eventually became part of the character's fanon for a while.

This is such an old meme I only remember learning about the pinecone meme after it was already done. This is like some year-1 deep cut into the fandom. I personally find it cute, and it fits her so incredibly well, both then and now xD

I think I saved one picture, back in the day, where Trixie was eating a pinecone, but I didn't know it was a meme even! Trixie's my favorite, but now I can't be the number one Trixie fan if I didn't know all the lore... A sad day 😢

Well this vid was certainly interesting, I honestly had no idea about this Trixie pinecone thing until now. Because back then I was just watching the show and wasn't as involved in the fandom as I am today I mean I was involved but not that involved.

Anyway I absolutely enjoyed the animation and animatic parts of this vids Pearmare! Simply marvelous work!!!
