We Pakistan should open dialogue with Armenia. If Turkey can have diplomatic relations with them, it's completely non sense not to establish relations between Pakistan and Armenia because we haven't had any problem with Armenia since the creation of the both countries.

This guy right here is the leader material. He is correct. Pakistan have supported Azerbaijan, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be diplomatic ties between Armenia and Pakistan. Diplomatic ties does not mean "supporting" a country. I don't care if Pakistan supports Turkey or Azerbaijan. They're free to choose whoever they support. It's just common decency to establish ties with a foreign nation that you had no conflict with.

He is right, Armenian trading community had immensely impacted South Asia's trade in early modern periods. Armenian traders were known for honesty and plain-dealing.

As a Pakistani, I believe we should recognize Armenia and then try to act as a mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Conflicts and wars have nothing good in store for common people. We don't have any direct conflict with Armenia and if they are expressing a desire to establish relations, we should welcome them. Maybe both countries can even become friendly due to us. Such a pragmatist approach rarely seen in this part of the world, good diplomatic relations between Armenia and Pakistan would be amazing for both especially in the commercial ways as both have soo much to offer to the other.

Armenians have been living in Pakistan for hundreds of years. Armenian traders had a big influence on the Mughal times and Armenian and Georgian gunners fought for the Mughals against Ahmed Shah Durrani. Armenian scripts from the 17th century were also found in Balochistan. Lt Colonel Derek Joseph was a Pakistani Armenian that fought for Pakistan in the 1971 war and destroyed 7 Indian tanks.
Pakistan should at least have diplomatic relations with Armenia and try to solve the problems between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
