2nd question. . Mean of constan is not equal to zero. In fact variance of const. Is equal to zero and Mean of cont. Always equal to const.. So 2nd question is wrongly done. Correct ans is 54 not 50. Plz rectify it otherwise other students may make huge mistake in their gate exam.

E(constant)= constant, not always 0 . V(constant)=0 . Check it once?

The answer for last question is correct.


The expected no. of coin flips for getting N consecutive heads is 2^(N+1)-2.


N=2,
E(x)=2^(2+1)-2=2^(3)-2=8-2=6

Q. 2 ka answer 54 hoga.. E(constant)= constant...so 30+20+4= 54 ...pls correct this..else student will be misleading

Q. 5 is very easy probably must not be greater than 1 than answer should be less than 1 that ans is 0.333 😂😂

@24:27 u have done gate 2015 ec set 2 wrong answer is 1.5 and why have u taken (Y=1) => p(Y)= 1/2 according to question it is not possible as it will not give two heads
