Jim Nix is a consummate storyteller who is at his finest when sharing stories of early Adventist believers, and Mrs White in particular.

I was a Roman Catholic for most of my life and even entered the convent to become a nun. when I left I was pretty much an atheist doing whatever I wanted in my twenties . then I found Christ or rather he found me. I became a Bible believing Christian and then a few years ago through the teachings of Walter veith, I found the 7th day Adventists and Ellen white. She is the person that I listen to every day on audio books. the way she teaches and the way she brings the truth of The Bible and makes it real is truly food for the soul. I dont understand why the SDA churches today dont speak of her or mention her on their websites. That is a shame.

I was raised SDA, but suffered sexual abuse by my non-Christian step-grandfather as a youth and ended up leaving Christ for a number of years. After becoming a mother to three beautiful boys in the ensuing years, Jesus came for me and drew me back into the fold (I'm eternally grateful). I was baptized in 1998 and eventually read the Desire of Ages and that book, of all her writings, literally changed my walk with the Lord. EGW was truly blessed and God continues to use her today to help many come into the full understanding and presence of the Lord!!

I absolutely love Ellen White's writings. The Church may abandon her writings, and the Christian world may ridicule her and those that believe in her writings, but I will never ever let them go. I could hear Jesus speaking to my heart through her writings, and I doubt I would be a Christian without her books. I came to understand just how to live for God and please him and the schemes of the devil to ensnare us in this world. Stand up tall for pure truth come what may.

What a servant of the LORD JESUS! How she loved Him so. I think sometimes about what would be my last words and I often think, like Job, I would like to say also, ' I know in whom I have believed. '
I also think of hoping to say perhaps, " It is well with my soul", but only God knows that for sure.
I thoroughly enjoyed hearing these stories about my favorite author. The first book of hers I read, I received as a present believe: The Desire of Ages. WOW!
Sister White was truly God's Messenger; have never found a reason to disbelieve her writings.

My wife was raised Methodist in Northern Ireland during ‘The Troubles’.
Got involved with witchcraft as a teen then after university became atheist.
On her early 30s met Christ through the ministry of Walter Veith then discovered the writings of Ellen White. She was amazed. Now she works as an injury rehabilitation and sports massage therapist with nutrition following the 8 laws of health. God is good 🙂🙏🏼

Will EGW be in that group? Yes along with many others.I personaly long to see my loving Saviour, who is so not willing to let me This is not for us to debate, but to meet our Saviour on our knees and give him permission to do his wrk in our hearts to perpare us to be able to stand. I have been blessed by this presentation, not only because it was well presented, but also becuase of Jim Nix's confidence. I have been in this church for over seven years now, and I have seen many people shy way from that fundamental fact, that Ellen G. White was indeed the LORD's messenger. For far too long the devil has tried to lessen our confidence regarding this matter and to some extend has succeeded, 'but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits' (Daniel 11:32). Now is time, more than ever before, when the children of God should stand up for the truth, and lift up the banner of Christ, because in Him have we overcome.
