It's also possible that the DA or Prosecutor in his case didn't want to let the evidence the defense is bringing up be used. That happens a lot more than most people think.

As a theory, if or when the conviction is overturned, I would hope Marvel would come back to the negotiating table with JM. Of course, they are not obligated to but it should be considered.

It’s not sufficient that he tried to defend and distance himself. He was deemed guilty by the jury the minute they heard of any injuries the other person sustained.

Hope JM makes it out of this and can start a new chapter without too much public judgment.
