First heard this back in 1953 in Paris as I watched the movie, "Forbidden Games, " (Jeux Interdits) for which it was the theme song. Have loved it ever since and learned to play it on the classical guitar. Can't play the guitar anymore because of age, but now play it on my harmonica. The rendition of the tune by this young woman ranks among the very best that I've heard. Congratulations and thanks so much for bringing your musical gift to us.

Lots of versions of this piece on YouTube but this one with her variations is by far my favourite. Great playing and perfect tempo. It would inspire me to learn the guitar but I can’t cope with having long fingernails.
