China hasn’t done enough to protect their own private enterprises and entrepreneurs who want to expand their businesses beyond Chinese markets. Certainly they are not lacking in actions on diplomatic row with the US government who often disobeys their own “free market” rules by putting pressures on Chinese enterprises with hegemonic dirty tricks; however, what we want to see is the direct actions taken by the Chinese government to ensure a safe and fair environment for the Chinese companies to be able to do businesses overseas without suffering threats and smears from the US government. The US government may be a bad character in this, but they never just sit there and wait for the Chinese companies to completely overtake the American market. They do take a lot of actions by lobbying other countries and putting pressures on them to stop using Chinese technologies, meanwhile China just simply waits for the US actions and put out a protest statement instead, that’s all. I believe if China is determined to countermeasure, they should go on a campaign against the US hegemonies. For example, talking to other countries whose companies had been destroyed by the US government before and uniting with them to ensure their companies would not suffer from the same fate in the future. And to tell every country how dangerous the US hegemonies have become. Today, they are trying to dismantle Chinese companies, but in the future they could do the same to their companies as well.

Discrimination is not the main motive, but rather fear of being outcompeted. The US has exhibited many similar anti-competitive behaviors towards Japan back when Japan seemed like it would overtake the US and mind you Japan is a democracy. It's no use telling them to stop because as long as they're under the threat of being outcompeted, they won't stop, you have to work around their tactics.
