I just ordered a goatskin Concord and afterwards I saw this in the description: "Now there is an even more splendid binding to grace this beautiful Bible: black goatskin leather – with the bonus of a real leather lining for extra strength and durability."

Does that mean the lining is leather? I only have one Cambridge goatskin Bible from previous, the Cameo, and that one is synthetic liner, so I assumed the Concord was the same?

I have a calfskin concord and the print fades in and out as well on some pagers, but must say the calf skin has soften up very nicely

I've had two of these but you know me they don't stick around LOL anyways both copies had fading with the Christ in red. The one I sent Gypsy Lane and also the one I sent to Casey Fleet which was like yours both had the exact fading in the same spots?? One area was John 3:16 the red gets bad there BUT here is the VERY odd thing.
Someone got ahold of me said their bible printed 10 years apart from a different printer has the same red ink faded at John 3:16????
How is that even possible when its the ink level esp from two printers in different countries 10 years apart? I can see leterrs broken cause of identical plates when these old prints are made BUT the Concords are not like that and it wouldn't cause red ink fading in and out? I'm super puzzled by this I can't makes sense of it😉 Pretty weird if ya ask me.

Im litterally a click away from investing in one of two cambridge bibles. I want goatskin but the only full yap is calfskin. Any experience with the cambridge calfskin? How do they compare?

Don’t know many bible readers that say “now which Bible is mine...? Oh! That one! I can tell by the 23 degree 2 inch scar 30 mm from the right hand edge!”
