Yugioh Duel: Laval vs Harpie Lady - Round 1
Показать описание
The first rays of sunlight began to dance over the mountain top and illuminate the village that lay below, deep within the valley. The long winter had passed and spring was about to ascend. This would normally be a time of joy and change for the villagers, but this jubilation would be short lived. The sound of a squawking crow filled the basin. Every inhabitant of the small town awoke. Even though Julia was but a handmaiden, she knew that a squawking of a crow on the first morning of spring was a bad omen. A sense of dread and uncertainty started to spread across the village. Julia, like many of the other villagers had wandered outside to investigate the sound, but she quickly returned to her cottage and dove back under the covers of her bed. It's just an old superstitious tail, she though. How much harm could possible ascend to their peaceful village...
Many months would pass, and spring was nearing its end. Many of the villagers had come to disregard the dark omen when they got word that a traveling carnival would be making a stop at their village as they passed through heading to the next major kingdom. Julia was most excited about this news. She had not been to a carnival since she was but a little girl. This would be a welcome to change to the humdrum life of a handmaiden she had come to know.
What made this carnival more unique was that, not only was it ran and preformed exclusively by woman, but they were all harpies'. These half human, half avian creatures were a real treat to many of the villagers. As many who lived in this town have never journeyed to the kingdoms beyond the village they were born in. They have only read lore about the different species that inhabited the land; they had never seen them in real life.
As Julia and her friends trekked their way through the carnival, playing in all the attractions, they made their way to the massive tent on the far end, the one labeled, "The Hysteric Party." Once inside they were treated to a great show of magnificent Harpie Dancers. They twirled across the stage and darted into the air to dance upon the sky. For the climax of the show, a woman came out calling herself the Harpie Channeler. She said she had a phantasmal pet beast that she had tamed and wanted to present to the villagers. As a covered cage was pushed to the center of the tent, she grabbed the blanket that enclosed the beast and ripped it over to reveal a dragon. She pronounced that this was, the Harpie's Pet Dragon. As she unlocked the cage, the crowd in erupted in applause, but their delight was short lived as the Harpie Channeler ordered her pet to attack the villagers and the dragon set the patrons of the tent a blaze with its fiery breath.
Julia ran for safety and escaped the tent but she could hear her fellow villagers being destroyed by the Harpies Pet Dragon. Their cries for help would go unanswered. Why had the Harpies done this? What could they be after? As Julia ran back to the village to warm those who did not attend the carnival, she saw that the centurions, the Laval Magma Cannoneers, had been awakened to guard the village. Legend says that they were only to be used when the slumbering dragon that lay underneath the village was threatened. Could the Harpie Ladies be attempting to claim this legendary beast for their own? Could they be here to capture the Shooting Quasar Dragon....
