I asked my brother to watch this movie. I said "it is a movie every man should watch". He said, "stop this feminism shit". Y'all I loved this movie. My mom faced the same struggles showed in this movie and now does the same things to me without even realising. I love my mom but she keeps saying that girls have to do all the work and take care of the house while my brothers focus on their careers. They don't do any house chores nor take care of their own rooms. My mom refuses to wash my clothes but washes my brothers cloths coz I have to learn. The worst part of all this is that my brothers don't even acknowledge that they are privileged and that there is a differential treatment. My mom has been in this system way too long and she has taught me the same things. I am unlearning few things as I start to see for myself. And I will NEVER EVER do this to my kids. I don't want to marry a man who is not supportive and helpful in house chores and my dreams. I rather die single ..
