Pubs, hairdressers and theme parks reopen in England – UK COVID-19 update

English residents visited pubs, hairdressers and theme parks for the first time in months as lockdown measures were lifted.

With stickers on floors and compulsory registration for all visitors, having a pint will not be the same - but patrons are happy to be back.

Scientific advisers urged people to be careful and observe social distancing rules, warning of a potential second spike in COVID-19 cases.
