Top 4 Ways to Remove Microplastics from the Body

Are there ways to remove microplastics from the body? Yes. Natural detoxification processes will take care of a lot, but it can't hurt to supplement. This is a list of our top 4 favs to consider.

Currently, it is estimated that there are over nine billion tons of plastic waste which can take centuries to completely degrade. But before that, most will break down into smaller particles, called microplastics or nanoplastics (which are even smaller). These are the types that can make their way into our body so it's good to have a multi-faceted approach to their prompt removal.

I like to bring my own glass containers to restaurants when I order takeout and for my leftovers. Putting hot food in plastic or styrofoam is really bad for your health and the environment. It’s real easy to keep a bag with a few clean glass containers in your car and the restaurant staff usually appreciate the conscientiousness.

I like burdock for a gentle continual food grade detox. And though activated charcoal can be supportive for acute use, it can be damaging as a long turn daily supplement. Where as burdock is full of good nutrients, helps the liver/kidneys in their detox and is full inulin. Inuline is a PREbiotic that's found in many other food sources that gives the probiotics the fuel they need to clean up this place. Cilantro might also be good since it helps the body get rid of heavy metals. You got me thinking. Thanks for the video!!

A few years ago I got rid of all my plastic containers to store food in and replaced with glass.
Hope they don’t find anything wrong with glass.

Thank you for posting. I have been drinking water from plastic for decades. I like to do all I can to be healthy and no longer put even recyclable things into our environment when possible for me. Thanks

It's suggested by some that micro or nanoplastics play a role in feminization of men, particularly in South East Asian countries where low quality plastics are used abundantly as food and beverage containers. It's possible that Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) may help eliminate some of these compounds that attach to estrogen receptors. More research needed.

Another bad thing is “forever chemicals” that are non-stick inside food containers, rain proof coatings, in frying pans, etc..

Thank you for this very informative useful video. I knew about activated charcoal and its benefits of getting rid of toxins, but totally spaced it off. Also, activated charcoal can help with anxiety, and panic attacts, believe it or not.

You show many plastic containers and mostly discuss these plastic forms, but the biggest issue is fast fashion and synthetic fibers in clothing and fabric. Your washing machine puts microfibers and microplastics into the water and this makes its way back to you even if you filter your water. Too large for carbon filters and too small for screens that are often made from synthetic fibers. True reverse osmosis might be the best option for pure water, but nanoplastics are ending up everywhere—nanoplastics are physical breakdown products of microplastics.
Your dryer puts them into the air we breathe.
The textile mills and clothing sweatshops but the fibers into air and water also.

An organic substitute for plastic was already found, as far as I know, in 2014, but business is business and let people die.

Chlorella also helps reduce uric acid that causes gout, weight gain and increased blood pressure. Dr. David Putlmutter, MD recommends 1200mg a day.
