I recommend the Terreno Dry. I have the 650x47 and it gives me enough grip on snow. It can handle the Canadian winter, but is still fast on sunny summer days

Good couple of posts about the Warbird. I’ve been considering a Cutthroat, but looks like a Warbird is perfectly fine for the back roads and tracks here in North East Wales/Cheshire.
Think it’s an ego thing that I want a Cutthroat, but I have a Fargo for off road already!

Continental makes a RaceKing in 27, 5x2.0 that is tubeless (no BlackChilli compound, but none the less). If you can fit them they would make a nice middle ground. They're also very reasonably priced. I switched out my WTB Senderos for them and they work much better on hardback/worn out roads and can still go off road if you want to.

Hutchinson Tourag I've found to be good . Gravel king only really grip on funnily enough gravel. I also use GK slicks which on the right day in the summer are good

How much adjustment with the brakes is needed switching between wheelsets? I have a salsa warroad (give that one any thought?) and might be interested in getting a 650b wheelset for it as well. Side note, that's a lot of seat post! Rad bike setup and overview!
