Bought Bosch Ascenta and no matter what settings I use…sanitize, extra dry feature, it doesn’t dry the dishes. Soaking wet dishes every time I used it. InReturned it within a few days.

My new GE washer with all options on heavy wash is almost 4 hours. Of course we rarely run it that long and it's almost always at night but that is a long time!

I bought the Bosch 100 series last year. First load - dishwasher shut off mid cycle. I called appliance store and they told me they don't do warranties I'd have to contact Bosch, which I did. Bosch said the door not closing was not covered and I'd have to call a repairman and pay for it. I spend $600 for a washer that has never worked yet without having to reshut the door and restart it, over and over. Last night I had to reshut door and restart SIX times. Would YOU pay $600 for a dishwasher that is faulty? I'll never buy a Bosch again, no matter what the consumer reports say. Consumer reports was the reason I chose this brand.

I bought Model GDF630PSM4SS in September. It stopped draining after two weeks. The technician who was sent told me that the problem was that I bought GE Dishwasher in the first place. Not kidding! He told me he would buy a Bosch as all GE dishwashers are junk. It broke a week later and for the next 3 weeks I had to bail it out by hand, let it sit a day, and then it would work again for about 4-6 times. The 2nd technician ordered a part that did not need to be replaced, got it to work and then it failed again and would not drain. I had to buy a new dishwasher and the GE sits in my garage. GE told me they will not refund the money and would only replace it if the technician states in cannot be fixed. Stay away from GE.

If you want dry dishes don’t buy Bosch or Miele. Condensation drying doesn’t dry dishes as well as heated dry.

My nightmarish experience was with an Electrolux, Model #DGCD2444SA2A. Three months after purchase the motherboard (Control Panel) was replaced. Another year of use and it went bad again, now out of warranty. I don't have a garage so it is going out in the garbage... Otherwise, it was quiet enough, and had the choice of cycles, the longest being just over an hour. It worked well, when it worked! I am just appalled at the high price these little "necessities" are going for these days.

Bosch Dishwashers? All kidding aside, worst god damn dishwasher I have ever owned and I'm 67. On AVERAGE 1/3 of dishes do not get clean, regardless of how or where they are positioned...after six month of practice you can still count on rewashing 1/3! Second, NOTHING fits! There are too many tines, all going different directs, all slanted and too close together. Seriously, after paying a grand, my wife wants it out and back to our old $400 Whirlpool. The Whirlpool Quiet Partner out performs, easier to load, etc. Tines are all vertical and in simple rows and widely spaced...makes it a breeze to load. ONLY advantage, it is quiet...I've heard that if you buy one your eligible to get a "SAP" tattoo across your forehead!

Glad to see someone has had success; have had mine for over six months, tried EVERYTHING, just unloaded, a typical load...RESULT: 5 Bowls, 1 Spoon, 1 Cup, and 2 Plates have to be rewashed, i.e. HANDWASHED...that's about average! I'd show a picture/video if I knew how. I know it looks good, but bottom line...at least the 500 series…SUCKS.
