For me it's working <link rel = "icon" href = "favicon.png">
Actually the example from the video didn't worked ... so that's why I tried this way.

I´ve seen this video like 10 times now. Everytime is time to add the icon to a client I always forget and end up coming back to this. Great help... wow I just realized I am making real money designing websites. Good luck for all of us!

For those who it doesn't work remember the code has to be in the <head></head> tag. Also remember that the <head></head> tag needs to be outside the <body></body> tags.

<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/png" href="img/favicon.png">
The line for those who want to copy paste it. It works only if you write it in the <head></head> and if your icon is named favicon.png.

This is a great tutorial I was able to make my own favicon in photoshop and have it set on my html. The logo size that he uses is 438x438 just in case anyone was wondering.

you guys should help him clicking ads being displayed on the screen before you enter into the tutorial which helps him to get paid little more and he will be motivated to create more new video. because the way he explains is really remarkable and easy to understand every single things.

This video was very helpful. I have been struggling with getting a favicon on the website i am working on. It turns out my problem was that i was using the same image of the logo that is on the page. I just got a second copy of the image and resized it. Thank You so much
