Next time you are in Michigan I'd love to see a series of you exploring the West coast of Michigan and going up to the UP.

Good thing Lenny is too large to fall into some of those highway chuck holes. I always hated the time constraints and the having to leave a region with a "yet to see and experience list" unfulfilled. But responsibilities must be attended to before and unfortunately after retirement begins. I keep hoping but it will take a major upheaval to at least get some traveling in. Covid has certainly curtailed much due to family member having compromised pulmonary system where a Covid case could be fatal.
I passed Chicago twice from a distance as you just did and actually visited it another time. Sue, a near complete T-Rex fossilized skeleton, was fairly new to the Field Museum then. One could easily spend days there exploring all the exhibits.
In time I hope your refrigerator falls forward from the weight of all the visited park magnets you've placed on it.

It is great to see you in our old stomping grounds. I grew up around Chicago and the Indiana Dunes are one of our favorite spots. My wife and I used to go there all the time with our friends. In fact if you're on Mount Baldy look around my wife lost hear engagement ring up there. We also would go hand gliding off there out over the lake and back to the shore. It brings back the memories. Really cool guys.

Sadly, there's really no money for road or infrastructure work since most of our very high taxes and lottery profits end up just lining crooked Chicago politicians' pockets. 😠 Our microwave brackets broke, the door flew open, the glass carousel smashed to a million pieces and cracked a floor tile! All from rough Illinois roads when she was brand new. 😮 🚌 😠

I LOVED the gopro underwater shots. I saw a bit of cloud on the lens at first, but after that, it was clear enough to see your leg hairs.
😂.
Good luck at IKEA. We have one bedroom dresser drawer that flew open, hit the bed frame, and cracked the pully clasp off. Now that drawer won't fully close. Gonna fix it before we head to the next campsite on the other coast. Safe travels, and keep those tours and reviews coming!
