Looking at the Bailey homestead, which is under restoration, I have to ask, why does it seem like the NPS always allows these historic properties to fall into such disrepair that they have to do major restoration efforts, rather than adequately maintaining them on a regular basis? Would be less inconvenience to the public and a lot less tax dollars spent in the long run.

#4, the "Three Dune Challenge" is not in the Indiana Dunes National Park. It is in the Indiana Dunes State Park, a completely separate place.
