I met this band at a concert in the early 2000s. My friends and I got backstage and smoked down with them and the band Lollipop Lust Kill. I LOVED 40 Below at that time. I still rock them to this day. I'll never forget that night.

These guys put on an AMAZING live show. Super high energy and genuinely nice people. Always down for a conversation. They never made a lot of music videos. While they haven't released a new album since 2015, they are *technically* still a band, according to the lead singers Insta, they are currently working on renovating a studio with the intent of making new 40 Below Summer songs. Soo cross your fingers.

I will never understand how this band didn't get huge. Everyone I had listen to them loved them, they found their way to and partnered with No Name Management around the same time Slipknot and Mudvayne. Were signed by Warner Music Group. Invitation to the Dance (the album this song is on) was produced by GGGarth (Garth Richardson). Same guy who did Rage Against The Machines self Titled, Mudvayne's L.D.50, Atreyu, Spineshank, Chevelle. Many albums we have all heard and probably loved.

This song is pretty dependent on the version you listen to. The version on Invitation to the Dance is the best. The version on the Rain re-release album is good but it doesn't hit the same.

This song used to be the first song on my gaming Playlist. I listened to it when I played anything but have direct memories of playing Tribes and Counter-Strike back in the early 2000s. Those were the days.

I seen them at metropol in Pittsburgh pa when invitation to the dance was released ..it was awesome... unfortunately won't see em again unless they reunite .. they didn't play wither away which was disappointing but they played most the album and it was great...so glad I got to experience seeing them ...
